Weekly update

Our little Bean is growing up..

I CAN NOT believe she is going into Young Women's this year!! AHHH
This week was new beginnings ... I was so lucky I got to be a part of it..
and even be in town for it for that matter! The YW's president asked me to sing in the program. I was honored:) I sang a song about temple marriage.. what a beautiful night.
Thank you mom for taking pictures...:)

Be YOU tiful:)

After the program we helped mom set up for the mommy - daughter tea party that was the next night.
It was ADORABLE little tea cups.. doilies.. folded napkins.. daisies.. and lots of pink tool:)

Home:)

Last night we were talking about how Bean didn't have school the next day because of President's Day... so we decided to go star gazing.
We threw at least 30 pillows.. and probably 15 blankets in the back of Dad's truck and hit the road. We went up in the foothills somewhere and snuggled in. Dad did a good job of scaring the poo out of us talking about those huge wolves on the way up.. BUT we conquered our fears and had a memory filled night singing crazy songs.. talking about constellations like we're astronomers...and tickle fights.. mostly by mom and dad... gross.

Bean and I.. snuggle buddies:)

I think i am choking her in this picture..

Mom and dad.. snugglin' until dad put his cold hand on mom's tummy... she was not happy..

the flash was SO bright..

MY LITTLE TOESIES ARE TICKLING IT!!

After star gazing
my hair says how much fun we had:) what a great night.
In the car on the way back Bean and I had quite the battle with the blankets and pillows all stuffed in the back seat with us.. I was getting SO claustrophobic.. and Savanna was LOVING the static in her hair.. Somehow by the end of the ride I think the roles were reversed because suddenly I was the annoying 11 year old suffocating bean with pillows.. finally she emerged from the sea of blankets and yelled.." OKay.. how about YOU go under water.. and I'll count to a million.."

I love the Bean.

Beans parent observation day at dance

It's UNREAL how high that girl can kick

Isn't she graceful?!

She has SWEET hops

Savanna trying to teach me and dad some moves...

savanna got all the "grace" in the family...no pun intended..

Love you Bean, thanks for being my best friend.

Farewells

Today is my last day at US Bank, and my last day in Provo, Utah.
Last night a few people came over so I could see them before I left.. okay a few more then just a few..
BUT it ended up being a huge success and ended the night with a hot chocolate run to Denny's and the midnight premier of The Vow with my girls.
I'm going to miss everyone, but there is one person that i'm going to miss imparticular.

My Brother. Corbin McKeeth.
He has been my best friend these past 6 months.

One to many trips to Denny's after midnight

a couple journeys to the grocery store with Britian

roadtrips

countless episodes of Modern Family

Going to the mall to help him find whats "in"

Sitting at the Malt Shop yelling out the answers to Trivia questions on the screen

Chester...:)

Jazz Games

Weird work parties

Killing Zombies

I could go on and on but my favorite memory is probably just chillin at his house playing the guitar and singing. I've made a friendship with my awesome brother that can't be replaced. I'm grateful for the time I've spent in Provo because of the relationship that I now have him. Thank you for laughing at my lame jokes and taking me on dates when I feel lonely. You never failed to let me know that I was ALWAYS welcome to come over.
And I always did:)

Love you

To New Beginnings

I figure the time has come to pick up blogging. Certain changes in my life are about to occur. YES the rumors are true. I'm moving to the Caribbean Islands to be a nanny of a 5 month old baby!
BUT lets rewind to when this all came about...

As many of you know I have a missionary, Elder Seth Taylor, we dated for  7 months and he just left on his mission to Ghana, Africa to serve the Lord for 2 years. After he left I was having a rough time.. and it being winter was not helping the depression level. I decided it was time to make some goals and make the best of the next 2 years. I broke open my journal, wiped the tears away and started to scribble down some goals.
1. get in shape
2. write in my journal every day
3. SERVE
4. make a habit of listening to conference talks
5. Travel... (study abroad.. teach english.. etc.)
6. Attend the Temple

I found myself on my knees begging my Heavenly Father for direction and motivation.
I looked at myself in the mirror..
Red puffy eyes, scrawny white legs who's date with a treadmill was WAY overdo, and a messy fun bun. My prayers for motivation were instant as I was suddenly doing jumping jacks in a large DI sweatshirt and spandex in front of the mirror to High School Musical soundtrack.
I didn't hear my roommate Katie open the bedroom door but when i looked over at her with her look of concern and shock and.. amusement I told her to please erase this memory from her mind. FOREVER.

Okay back to the story.
I had an old profile on a nanny website that I had looked over just days before, not thinking of nannying as an option. The next day at work (US Bank) I opened my e-mail and had an e-mail from a family that saw my profile on the nanny website and asked me if i was interested in working for them.. I set up a Skype date and talked to the mom for a while when it all started falling right into my lap. I WAS STOKED (i'm sure the fact that it was in the Caribbean Islands had a little something to do with it) I called my parents and told them about it and they set up a Skype date with Rose (the mom) to see how they felt about it. When I called my dad to ask how it went he said....
"I don't know.. we told her the truth about you Kenz"

What a great guy scaring the poo out of me.

My mom grabbed the phone before I had a heart attack and told me that it went well and she was very impressed with the family.

SO here I am in Provo, UT finishing up my last week at US Bank and counting down the days until i can begin this new chapter in my life.

Let The JOurneY begin.
